Calylophus hartwegii fendleri

Fendler's Sundrops

A spreading mound to 2 ft. across with 2" square yellow flowers that open in the morning and turn orange and pink as they die. This rugged perennial flowers in the summer. Fendler's Sundrops is difficult to germinate. Sow in fall or soak seed in hydrogen peroxide for 6 hours, stratify for 1-3 months and sow in spring. Zones 3-8.
